From the rinsing, cleaning, and disinfecting of instruments to the meticulous inspection and bagging for sterilisation, we leave no detail unchecked. Our daily use of the HäTmed Q50 B and Sirona DAC Professional autoclaves is closely monitored, with regular maintenance conducted by technicians every six months and annual validations to ensure optimal functionality.
To ensure the efficacy of our sterilisation processes, we employ a series of rigorous tests, including the Vacuum Leak Test, Bowie Dick Test, and the use of Physical Indicators. These tests, along with Self-sealing pouches and Chemical indicators, provide visual confirmation of correct sterilisation conditions within the autoclave chamber, assuring you of the sterility of our equipment.
Annually, our sterilisers undergo a comprehensive validation by qualified technicians. Biological indicators are then employed, testing all variables of the sterilisation process to confirm the elimination of resistant spores. Only after a series of incubation cycles and effective sterilisation are confirmed do we consider the biological test passed.
Beyond sterilisation, our commitment to infection control extends to measures like damp dusting, flushing suction systems, regular glove changes, single-patient use for endodontic files, and thorough disinfection on all touched surfaces.
For medico-legal reasons and to ensure consistent aseptic practices, we implement Batch Control Identification (BCI). Each pouch containing sterile equipment is barcoded, allowing us to track its journey from sterilisation to use. This meticulous tracking system ensures accountability and adherence to our high standards.
